The day started, as most of weddings do, with prep shots of the boys at the couples home. We were meted with smiling faces and they never really stopped throughout the entirety of the day. Boys looked handsome and displayed some brotherly cheek which also continued through the day and kept things humorous and light hearted, making our jobs a breeze and a delight.
From there it was straight to a real favourite of ours, Chapel Hill......and it didn't disappoint. The girls stayed and had their prep shots in the guest house which views Chapel Hill's rolling hills covered by gorgeous vines and rich green grass.
We managed to get a peek inside the reception hall after our prep work was done.
The couples ceremony was an ideal one. The weather stayed favourable, which was a big deal considering it was held outside and everyone looked their best.
Once the ceremony had concluded we , of course, took total advantage of our surroundings and the magnificent sun in the backdrop, set perfectly in the middle of the valley. Our bridal party were more than easy to work with and often played up for the camera....sometimes almost seeming like we weren't there at all...makes for some really nice imagery.
Onto the reception after some fun in the vines. This was a jolly affair. Smiles all round, often from ear to ear. All were more than happy to pose for the camera. The couple had a mouth watering, all cheese bridal cake which chimed in perfectly with the days theme and rustic surroundings.
All in all it was a fantastic day and we really hope we've done it justice. Thank you once again Amber & Hayden for choosing Fiona Thurlings Photographer to photograph your special day.
