This day started unlike many others....with terrible weather!!
The morning of these two lovely individuals wedding, the sky was a dark grey and rain had been reported throughout the lands (bit medieval there). Don't know about Fiona, but I was concerned, especially knowing the ceremony was to be held outdoors in a beautiful part of the city on the rivers edge. Taking all that into accountant.....we had the most stunning weather!! Four seasons pretty much, in one day, ending with a picture perfect sunset, a couple of very small clouds left in the sky which ended up making for a wonderful clear night.
Im not going to write too much more for this blog as I believe the images speak for themselves. Sophie and Brad married by the waters edge at Angas Gardens, with some passing sites being the Popeye and a lady with her adorable sausage dog, running as fast as its undersized legs could go and almost had its front legs elevated off the ground the whole time it was in that much of a hurry to get nowhere.
We weren't starved for locations either. The couple knew exactly where they wanted to shoot and chose perfect locations and backdrops, all within a couple of minutes of each other (they included the Love Lock Bridge, back and just inside the Adelaide Uni, we also shot along the rivers edge on our way to where the Popeye banks, on the Popeye whilst it took us to Elder Park and to our final destination, the Dunstan Playhouse Bistro...which was surrounded with great backdrops). They (Sophie and Brad) were easy to direct and needed very little posing in the end.
Our travel through the area was made sooooooooo much easy with the hire of the brilliant Treecycles, each accompanied with driver and very effective for city travelling. Both gentlemen were very warming and open to suggestions.
Their entourage of friends and family were more than accommodating to directions and followed our gestures with smiling faces.
As an event/ wedding, we couldn't of hoped for better weather and company. Sophie and Brad were a delight to work with and we feel we defiantly came out with some truly beautiful images. Thank you again Sophie and Brad for choosing FTP to photograph your special day and well be in touch very shortly.
