The day started at the Church of St Cyprian, a beautiful little church on Melbourne St, North Adelaide. First time either one of us had photographed at this location and it proved to be rewarding as we captured some really nice images inside.
Boys arrived first, of course, all looking very smart.
Ladies arrived shortly after, in style i must admit, red Mustangs...nice.
Actual ceremony consisted of an organ player and accompanying choir. This all made for a very unique union, specially when you thrown in the fact that the Bride's mother was the days Priest (the last with the red hair....and priest uniform on a couple of images above this). Was very much a family affair and all whom attended were lovely and welcoming.
Following the ceremony, still at the church, was some light refreshments and 'chin-wagging'. This was great as everybody stayed together and socialised as a group till it was time to go to the reception. Highly recommend this to all future couples organising a wedding day.
From the North Adelaide church we travelled to the Botanic Gardens, making the most of the beautiful weather and backdrop.
Decided on trying something adventurous.....gave everyone a good laugh and dirtied up poor Chani a bit, she was a great sport about it though.
Few more formal shots then......
Onto the reception!!
The reception was held at Sfera's Function Centre and consisted of laughs and smiles a plenty, with some great dancing and some very memorable group dancing and interpretative modern dance also (written with a smile on my dial).
Massive thank you to all for their co operation during the day and an even bigger thank you to Chani and Andy for allowing us to be present and photograph their very very special day.
Few plugs- Belles and Beaus Mustangs (Mustangs), Jenny & Gerry's (Brides Dress), Glamour Room (Bridesmaid and Flowergirl Dresses), Gerry's Suit Hire (Groomsmen suits), Heidelberg (Cake) and Chelsea from Vain Hair (hair and makeup).
